The rest of photo day

From the photo shoot yesterday, we got ONE good picture of Becca. Bridget on the other hand is always ready to smile for the camera.

She wanted to wear her recital costume and it turned out really cute!

Photo Day for Becca...(NOT)

We tried to have some 3 year old photos of Becca taken today. She was all excited and positive. There were bribes in place.

It didn't work.

You knew it right?

You knew that I couldn't just stop taking pictures on dress rehearsal night--you knew that I hope. The little girls did so great. The audience full of people didn't seem to phase them. As is customary after a performance, Bridget left with her arms FULL of bouquets of flowers! We gave her a big one and she got some more from Aunt Kristin and Uncle Mark, Gramma Kathy, Gramma and Papa. After her dance they are required to change out of the costume. I was hoping everybody could see it up close, but oh well! At intermission I got a a cute shot of my mom with Bridget. What a fun night!

Dance Recital

So exciting! Bridget's dance school is having their annual recital on Sunday. Saturday was the dress rehearsal and I took lots of photos. I thought it would be easier with less people there than during the real recital. The little girls are so darn cute in the little costumes! They are doing a little ballet number to a song from Cinderella. All the girls were very excited about getting to wear make-up. I think that was even more exciting than the danceing part. The bottom photo is Bridget with her Aunt Kelsie (who is also in the recital).

Old Shawnee Days

Saturday we headed out to Old Shawnee Days. Bridget talks about going to the carnival all year. Becca was feeling a little under the weather, but she seemed up for it. Considering she just wants to watch from the stroller. She doesn't have any desire to get out try any rides. They were both really really quiet on the way there. A little too quiet. Suddenly, Becca started to cry. I knew that cry. It was the "I'm gonna throw up cry". I was right. UGH!

So Schaun turned the car around and headed home. Bridget was so sad, and Becca was so sad. At home I got Becca cleaned up (it wasn't really all that bad) and Schaun and I decided to give going back a shot. It was a good decision. Becca was a little pathetic looking, but she was still happy. Bridget was ecstatic to go on all the rides and the big blow up slides. I took her on the ferris wheel (where I took a few shots from the top) and Schaun went on the carousel with her. The weather was perfect and it was a fun time.
